Ontario Passes the Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act
On November 22, 2017 the Ontario Government passed the Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017. This Bill brings significant changes to the Employment Standards Act (ESA). Most of the media focus has been on increases to minimum wage; however, there are other changes that will have a significant impact and cost on small businesses.
