OPBA was pleased to welcome 188 attendees to its 68th Annual Meeting, held virtually on June 25, 2026. Thank you to all members who participated and demonstrated their support by exercising their voting privileges.
Board Chair Victoria Mirlocca highlighted another strong year for the association. OPBA membership reached a record 1,101 members at the end of 2025, reflecting the value members place on professional development, meaningful connections, and a strong collective voice for public procurement.
Victoria also celebrated the successful launch of the modernized Principles Certificate Program through the Public Procurement Learning Lab. OPBA’s professional development offerings continued to grow, attracting more than 3,300 registrations in 2025.
The association is also expanding its advocacy efforts and industry impact while introducing new learning opportunities, programs, and resources to support public procurement professionals at every stage of their careers.
A special thank you to guest speaker Cole Cioran, Managing Partner at Info-Tech Research Group, for his presentation, AI in Procurement: Contracts, Vendors & Risk in a Changing Landscape. Attendees gained valuable perspectives on emerging AI-related procurement considerations.
The Board also recognized Scott Agnello, who has stepped away from the Board of Directors after 12 years of dedicated service. Scott’s leadership, commitment, and many contributions have had a lasting impact on OPBA. We are pleased that he will continue supporting the OPBA community as co-lead of the Caveat Emptor Golf Tournament.
