This is to announce that after five years as the Executive Director at The Private Capital Markets Association of Canada (PCMA), Georgina Blanas has decided to pursue other career opportunities and will be leaving the organization.
During her tenure, Georgina has been the key leader for the PCMA in championing the organization’s increasing role in private capital growth in Canada. In particular, Georgina has strengthened the PCMA's private capital advocacy and educational development for its members, while expanding the association into the largest private capital markets association in Canada.
Supported by a dedicated team, the PCMA today is in a solid position for its continuing growth and leadership through the current volatile economic and market challenges. The PCMA Chair Tommy Baltzis and the Executive committee will be spearheading the succession planning and will ensure continuity of the organization.
Everyone at the PCMA, including its board and executive, wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Georgina for her dedication, leadership and hard work for its members and the private capital industry as she moves on to the next chapter of her career.
