This is the question CaGBC President Thomas Mueller will pose to members this fall at HRAI’s special 50th Anniversary Conference at the fabulous Paradisus Playa del Carmen, in Mexico, before outlining the myriad ways in which you can benefit from the coming opportunities in the HVAC marketplace.

Mueller will explain how the federal government, the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and other key partners are working on implementation of a nationwide roadmap that will help to significantly increase activities like HVAC recommissioning, deep retrofits, adding renewables and switching out fossil fuels. The plan is to implement financing structures for upgrading existing buildings that have succeeded in the USA and elsewhere. They will dramatically ramp up activity, contributing to achievement of the Canadian target of 30% greenhouse gas emission reductions (from 2005 levels) by 2030.
