The federal election has begun!

HRAI is calling on members across the country to engage with candidates from all parties to educate them about the importance of the HVACR industry and HRAI to Canadians.  With important public policy issues to be tackled, it’s more important than ever to find champions in Ottawa for the HVACR sector and for small business owners and employees.

Making these contacts and having these discussions in local ridings across the country will help open the door for future discussions with our elected/re-elected representatives.

How can you help?

It‘s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

  1. Contact Martin Luymes.  1-800-267-2231, ext. 235 or email mluymes@hrai.ca
  2. You will be given a tool kit with all the information you need including who the candidates are and key messages about the issues.
  3. Meet with the candidates, share your story and let us know what you learned.

It’s that easy.  And, it’s that important.

Issues of importance to the HVACR sector include but are not limited to:  support for trades, regulatory harmonization, supportive energy policies, and action on household and commercial improvements in energy efficiency heating/cooling technologies.

We need your help to engage candidates and campaigns team across the country.  The information tool kit created for this election makes it easy for you to contact your local candidates and to communicate these issues with confidence.

With your help, we can help elect new champions in the next Parliament who will help make the regulatory environment easier for businesses from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

For more information and to participate in this political engagement program, please contact Martin Luymes at 1-800-267-2231, ext. 235 or email mluymes@hrai.ca.
