THE CMPX SHOW AND THE STATUS OF COVID-19

CMPX 2020, the Canadian Mechanical & Plumbing Exposition opens Wednesday, March 25 and runs through Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27, 2020. The show will proceed as planned.

The Show Committee wants to assure all those involved with the CMPX 2020 show that Management is actively monitoring the developments of COVID-19, and any impact it might have on our event, or on our industry as a whole.

Take a look at either of these sites for updates: Toronto Public Health has the most accurate and up-to-date information.  The Ontario Ministry of Health also has updates.

Please be assured that the health and safety of all our exhibitors, attendees and employees remains our top priority.  Hand Sanitizer stations will be set up and washrooms are easily accessed throughout the show area. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is also taking all the recommended measures.

The risk of COVID-19 to Ontarians continues to remain low.  At this time, we want to stress the importance of proper hygiene:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water
  • Sneeze and cough into your sleeve
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
  • Avoid contact with people who are sick
  • Stay home if you are sick

We will continue to closely monitor developments and provide updates as necessary. We encourage you to also monitor the following sites (listed above) for the latest developments.

As development unfolds, we will continue to send out more information.

Sincerely,
