Organizers of the biennial Canadian Mechanical & Plumbing Exposition (CMPX) are planning an exciting return to in-person events in 2022, when the Covid-19 pandemic is over.

The first post-Covid CMPX trade show will be held March 23, 24 & 25 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Jointly produced by the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) and the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), the event is being billed as a celebration of the industry, complete with educational opportunities, demonstrations, and hundreds of new product introductions.

The show is managed by a team of event professionals from the Show Division of Newcom Media Inc.

CMPX organizers met virtually Nov. 27 to begin planning the 2022 event. Together they brainstormed ideas to meet the evolving needs of Canadian mechanical industries including air-conditioning, forced-air and hydronic heating, plumbing, waterworks, water quality, piping, refrigeration, and ventilation.

New show features are being developed to make the 2022 event truly special, following the abrupt and unfortunate cancelation of the 2020 event due to concerns about the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Mark your calendar now for the CMPX Show, March 23-25, 2022 in Toronto, and watch your inbox for regular updates throughout the coming year.
