HRAI is saddened to notify members of the passing of Bozo “Bob” Lausic. Mr. Lausic was involved in the HVACR industry for close to fifty years. Mr. Lausic passed away on November 24, 2018 after battling cancer for the last six and half years.

After working in the Commercial Sheet Metal industry as an installer and later as a Forman in the late 1960s and early 70s, he transitioned to the installation and service side of the heating appliance market in 1972 when he started LB Heating & Air Conditioning Co in Toronto. He originally jumped into the heating oil market by becoming a dealer for Liquid Flame but then moved over to the natural gas market when he became an Authorized Dealer of Consumer’s Gas in 1975.  He was active in the industry and company right up until he passed.

Bob will be missed by his many colleagues across the HVACR supply chain including many individuals working for utilities and associations.
