HRAI’s 50th Annual Meeting and Conference in Playa del Carmen, Mexico proved to be a success. We surveyed our members and attendees to understand what is important to them when attending the event. The feedback we received was valuable, as it helps us to plan for next year.

Below are some highlights of what the survey told us:

  • The majority of survey respondents learned about the conference through either email or a newsletter; followed by the conference website.
  • When prompted on the reason for attending the event, the answers with the most responses were either for networking opportunities and content.
  • Our speakers received positive reviews as well, most of them were ranked as either above average or excellent.
  • The top three things guests liked about the conference were the networking opportunities, the speakers and the location.
  • Survey respondents provided topic suggestions for next year’s event which ranged from contractor related equipment to human resource and tariff issues to residential heat pumps.

There were some comments that indicated the agenda was a little bit light and there should have been more sessions/speakers. This will be taken into consideration for the 2019 event.
