On November 27, HRAI Vice President of Government and Stakeholder Relations, Martin Luymes presented testimony before the federal government’s all-party Standing Committee on Natural Resources, which is doing a study on the “Economic Opportunities for Energy Efficiency in Canada.”  HRAI’s testimony focused on the job creation and GDP growth impacts of investing in energy efficiency measures but also provided some cautions on how these opportunities should be pursued (e.g. it is important to harmonize regulations with the US and among provinces).
