In recent weeks, like all businesses, HRAI been adapting rapidly to the current health and economic changes facing our country.   With the government mandate to cancel all events in light of physical distancing, this meant HRAI had to cancel its widely popular 500+ exhibitor, 14000+ registrant CMPX tradeshow.  In addition to this, HRAI was forced to cancel all of its face-to-face training courses until the end of June 2020.

However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  In February this year, HRAI held its first virtual classroom with the one-day intro course.  The feedback from the participants who attended the class from the comfort of their homes or businesses, had positive reviews – citing that participating was just like being in the class and the connection was uninterrupted.

HRAI felt that this time is as good as any to try this arrangement out again, but our four-day Residential Air System Design course, running April 6th-9th.  Working with the same provider who helped us broadcast the one day course in February, HRAI garnered support for this arrangement from 75% of the registrants scheduled for the in-class session.   A campaign to bring in more participants began and has now sold out.

The next steps will be to investigate adding the virtual classroom technology to HRAI head office facility.  As well, if members wholesalers and manufacturers are equipped to run virtual classrooms out of your facilities we want to hear from you.

Watch for details in the coming weeks.
