On April 19th, the Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance (CEEA) held its 22nd Annual General Meeting in Toronto.  In addition to appointing a new Board of Directors, members were informed of a bold new plan for financial sustainability that will include partnering with a set of family foundations with an interest in the advancement of energy efficiency.  HRAI’s Martin Luymes was re-appointed as CEEA Chair for 2017-2018.

Prior to the AGM, CEEA members, energy efficiency stakeholders and a range of experts gathered to discuss some of the latest trends in energy efficiency. Attendees were privy to an inside perspective on developments in the U.S. under the new Trump administration from Kateri Callahan, President of the U.S. Alliance to Save Energy (ASE). The event was capped off with the launch of the report Engaging Millennials, commissioned by CEEA and IESO.
