With the value of the energy efficiency market expected to grow to $550 billion by 2035, energy efficiency helps build the economy, create jobs, reduce greenhouse gas, and save cost for everyone. These are some of the reasons the ENERGY STAR Canada program was established 18 years ago by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan).

Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, announced the annual ENERGY STAR Awards May 15. This year’s “energy efficiency heroes” have been actively promoting their achievement in the popular media, as environmental issues have been top of mind for many Canadians.  HRAI congratulates member companies Daikin, Rheem and Venmar for being recognized with awards.
