The AHR Expo will take place in Atlanta January 14-16, 2019 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, concurrently with ASHRAE’s Winter Conference. AHR Expo is one of the world’s largest heating, cooling and refrigeration events, bringing together more than 2,000 exhibitors and attracting about 60,000 attendees each year. These include manufacturers engineers, contractors, distributors, commercial, industrial and institutional facility operators, and educators.

According to ASHRAE President Sheila Hayter, over and above the technical program and social events, twenty courses will be taught during the Conference and Expo, providing an excellent opportunity for participants to earn ASHRAE credits and learn about new products, technologies and innovative practices. Some of the courses in this year’s program:

  • Advanced Designs for Net Zero Buildings (code 63)
  • Air-to-Air Energy Recovery Applications: Best Practices (code 64)
  • Latest in High-Performance Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (code 65)

ARTICLE7BIt will be an opportunity-packed and sometimes daunting few days, so organizers provide a couple of tools to help attendees zero in on their interests. One is called My Show Planner and is a phone app for planning your days and optimizing your time. The other is a directory of exhibitors that you can search by key words, such as particular technologies. The links are below.
