President’s Message

Well, I won’t say that our first virtual AGM and Safety Forum didn’t come off without a hitch – but generally things went very well.  We had a peak attendance of over 200 people. 

I am pleased to advise you that our online election went well, and that we have two new Board members – namely Cathy Press of Chinook Helicopters and Brad Fandrich of Valley Helicopters. I am also pleased to announce that Jacob Forman of Yellowhead was re-elected to the Board. Board members all serve two-year terms, but may be re-elected subject to term limits set out in our bylaws. I am also pleased to congratulate our Award winners for 2020.

Well, we’ll all be glad to see 2020 behind us. It has been a Kidney-Stone-of a-year. We can only hope that the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccine will bring this agony to a halt.
