January 14-15 2020

The 2020 Canadian Aviation Safety Collaboration Forum (CASCF) will be held in Ottawa at the Shaw Centre from January 14-15, 2020. Mark your calendars for this important event!

This annual event provides a platform for a range of aviation safety leaders to speak and engage in challenges and opportunities, to proactively identify and mitigate potential aviation safety risks and continue to cultivate effective safety education, collaboration, and development within the aviation industry.

This year’s forum will cover some of the following topics:

  1. The Protection and use of Aviation Safety Data and Information
  2. Transportation Safety Board (TSB) Townhall- Presented by the Chair of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada,  Kathy Fox
  3. Update on Strategic Safety Risk Assessment
  4. Canada’s State Safety Programme

This year our forum will engage a broader audience as we encourage large, medium, and small-sized operators to attend. Breakout sessions will be held to specifically address safety risks and challenges within the aviation industry (e.g. runway overruns, safety management systems, pilot proficiency and training, and airport infrastructure). Stay tuned to select the specific breakout sessions where you can best contribute. A reminder email will follow in the coming weeks.

Please send this invite to your association members and to those who would benefit from participating in this forum. Space for this event is limited, we encourage you to register as soon as possible.
